Rule change in Washington extends food stamps to more families (KHQ Spokane)

OLYMPIA – Beginning October 1 an estimated 23,000 additional families will be eligible for food stamps in Washington state.  The Department of Social and Health Services has changed the eligibility rules for the Basic Food program.
