Heathrow Logistics Park reaches capacity

Heathrow Logistics Park is now fully let after two new lettings were secured.

Royal Mail has agreed a five-year lease of Unit 3, a 91,349 sq ft warehouse at the site on Bedfont Road, near Heathrow Cargo Terminal. It is expected to be operational before Christmas 2020.

International freight forwarding and logistics provider JAS Forwarding has also taken a 15-year lease on Unit 1, a 109,000 sq ft industrial/warehouse space.

It will double the company’s capacity at London Heathrow and is located a short distance from its existing UK headquarters.

Heathrow Logistics Park is a joint venture development between BlackRock and Graftongate.

Colin Beasley, director at Graftongate, said: “We’re very pleased to have let all four units at Heathrow Logistics Park to occupiers of this calibre, despite the uncertainty of a global pandemic.

“This scheme offers high specification industrial and logistics facilities with good sized yards, which has attracted occupier interest. With Heathrow Logistics Park fully let, we’re keen to find new opportunities for development.”
