DAC Beachcroft is in the business of saving Christmas. Without its lawyers, children might not have been able to send a letter to Santa at the North Pole last year, never mind receive presents in the post.

In November 2019 the firm helped Royal Mail to obtain a High Court injunction that barred the Communications Workers Union from going on strike. The union had voted overwhelmingly in favour of a walkout over conditions and job security. It was the second success by the firm in stopping Royal Mail strikes during the Christmas period. The union branded the injunction an “utter outrage”.
