Cleaning: Mrs Hinch fans explain how they use baking soda to clean their fridge

Cleaning sensation Mrs Hinch has taken the world by storm in recent years. The influencer, whose real name is Sophie Hinchliffe, now has more than four million followers on Instagram. Fans of Mrs Hinch have recently decided to create their own cleaning tip groups on social media platforms.

Many users recommended using bicarbonate of soda, otherwise known as baking soda.

One user said: “Oh that sounds frustrating. Have you tried a box of baking soda?

“It absorbs smells. Just follow the instructions on most boxes.”

Another said: “Wipe with Milton or put a pot of bicarbonate of soda in there to absorb smells.”

Another cleaning fan recommended putting a pot of coffee grounds in the fridge to help absorb the smell.

Some users had more unusual advice for fridge owners.

“Put a couple of teabags in the fridge the smell goes”, replied one user.

Another recommended: “Get a fridge egg it absorbs odours or put a tub of bicarbonate of soda in.

“Try a fridge deodoriser it gets rid of smells”, said one Facebook user.
