Jean Sutherland Robbins

Jean Sutherland Robbins passed away at Royal Berkshire Hospital on Sunday 24th January, aged 83. Beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Jean will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. Funeral service will be held on Monday 15th February. Family flowers only please. Ron Colman

Ron Colman passed away peacefully on 28 January 2021, age 75, with his family by his side. Funeral to be held on 17 February 2021 at 11.30 am. Ann Grace Plumley

Ann Grace Plumley reunited with husband John on the 31st January 2021, together again.

David Warnke

David Warnke, of Foxcombe Drive, Tilehurst, sadly passed away on the 27th January 2021 aged 68 years. Loved and Missed by all his family and friends. Private family funeral service to take place. Family Flowers only. Donations if desired to the ICU at the Royal Berks.

Audrey Dormer

Audrey Dormer passed away peacefully at the Royal Berkshire Hospital on 29th January 2021, aged 90. She was a much loved mother to Paul, Andy and Chris, a wonderful grandmother and mother in law and is now reunited with her late husband Eric. She will be deeply missed by all her family and friends. There will be a private funeral service to celebrate her life on Saturday 20th February at 1pm. Evelyn Diana Simmonds

Evelyn Diana Simmonds: Sad to announce the death of Diana who passed away in RBH on 19th January 2021 after a short illness. A dear sister who will be sadly missed. Funeral Thursday 18 February at 10.30am at West Chapel, Henley Road Crematorium. Family flowers only.

Hugh Ilott

Hugh Ilott passed away peacefully at the Royal Berkshire Hospital on the 28th January aged 94 years. Much loved Husband, Father and Grandfather. Mavis Eileen Gomm

Mavis Eileen Gomm passed peacefully away on 1st February 2021 after a long struggle with dementia. Beloved wife of the late Les, mother to Linda and the late Nigel, grandmother, great nan and sister to Rita. She will be so sadly missed. Private funeral service. David Arthur Chaplin

David Arthur Chaplin passed away peacefully on 1st February 2021 aged 76 years. David is now reunited with his loving Wife Jan. David will be sadly missed by all his Family and Friends. All enquiries to A B Walker Tel: 0118 9573650.

Peter John Brunt

Peter John Brunt passed away aged 54, in the Royal Berkshire Hospital late January 2021. Peter lost his brave, long battle with multiple sclerosis, complicated by contracting Covid-19. Thankfully, doctors kept him comfortable and pain free. He is survived by his parents, Patricia and Alec, his ex-wife, Paula, his sons, Owen and Jack, his siblings, Jennifer, Simon, and Nicola, and numerous ‘Carry On’ DVDs which appear to be indestructible. Peter enjoyed a career in the Royal Mail postal service before his health issues forced early retirement. The closed family funeral is at Reading Crematorium on Thursday 25th February 2021 at 3.15 p.m. In lieu of flowers, we request donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Ann Aurelius (nee Cole)

Ann Aurelius (nee Cole). Ann passed away peacefully aged 81 at her son’s home in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, after a 10 year battle with Parkinson’s Disease. Wife of Mark (Marcus, deceased), Mother of Colin and Richard, and Grandmother of Megan, Emily, Tom, Toby and Marcus. Born in Cardiff, South Wales, Ann moved to Henley-on-Thames where she married Mark in 1961, before moving to Woodley, Reading, where she lived for all of her married life. Her connection with Henley-on-Thames continued however, where she and her husband operated Scotford and Teasdale, refrigeration and air conditioning, for many years. Ann continued to reside in Woodley, Reading, before living with her Sons, Richard in South Wales, and latterly Colin in Cheltenham over the last 12 months. The funeral will take place at Cheltenham Crematorium, Gloucestershire on Friday 12th February 2021 but is sadly limited to those invited by the family. John Rouse

John Rouse passed away peacefully at the Royal Berkshire Hospital, aged 85, on 29th January 2021. Reunited with Pat. Much loved dad to Sandra and Karen, father in law to Dean and Mick, grandad to Jordan, Kirsty, Hannah and Sophie. Will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. John worked for the S.E.B. for forty years. There will be a family only funeral service on Thursday 11th February. The hearse will pass Coley Park play area at approximately 1.15 pm if anybody would like to pay their respects social distancing. Family flowers only. Jennifer (Jennie) Ingram

Jennifer (Jennie) Ingram: Much loved sister of the late Sheila, cousin and friend, died peacefully on 29th January 2021 following a stroke last year. Kenneth O’Shea: It is with much sadness that Ken passed away on Tuesday 19th January, aged 92. A lovely man who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Joan Lilian Howarth

Joan Lilian Howarth: Former registrar at Reading Borough Council. Passed away suddenly on Saturday 30th January 2021 aged 78 years. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.
