Woodborough post office announce reopening date following resignation of former postmaster

A post office that was forced to close following the resignation of their postmaster has announced a reopening date.

The previous post office was forced to close temporarily in May of this year but is now scheduled to reopen under new management.

Now, with a new postmaster, the building is set to reopen at the same location in Main Street on Monday, November 22.

The opening hours will be Monday to Saturday: 8am – 7pm; Sunday: 8am – 4pm.

Ian Johnson, Post Office Network Lead, said: “We are delighted to soon be restoring Post Office services to Woodborough as we know how important a Post Office is to a community.”

With over 11,500 branches, Post Office has the biggest retail network in the UK, with more branches than all the banks and building societies combined.
