Forget Black Friday! Amazon has just slashed Fire TV and Echo prices

It’s November and that means the big Black Friday sales are just a few weeks away. This shopping bonanza takes place on Friday, November 26th this year with all the biggest retailers such as Currys, John Lewis and Argos expected to join the price cut party.

However, if you want to beat the rush at the end of the month and grab a bargain today then Amazon may have just what you are looking for. The online retailer has just slashed the cost of a number of products to celebrate Alexa’s birthday.

The chatty assistant was born on November 6 2014 and to mark this new milestone, products that are powered by Alexa are getting some massive reductions.

Right now you can pick up the 4th Gen Echo Dot smart speaker for just £34.99 – saving £15. This latest mini music maker now features bigger sound and a refreshed design. Upgrading to the Dot with Clock is also now cheaper with prices starting from £44.99 – saving £15.

Anyone wanting to boost their nightly TV viewing can also grab a Fire TV Stick for as little as £16.99. This device plugs into your existing telly and adds services such as Disney+, Netflix and Prime Video. Even the all-new Fire TV Stick Max which features faster download speeds and full compatibility with 4K content is on sale with things dropped by £18.

If you fancy a new tablet then you can pick up the Fire HD 10 for £94.99 – saving a whopping £55. This device gets a 10.1-inch screen, 12-hour battery and 50 percent more RAM.

Other offers include money off the Echo Show 8, Echo Dot Kids Edition and Fire TV Cube which is now just £59.99 – that’s a 45 percent saving.

Amazon says that all of its new deals are only available for a limited time so it might be a good idea to get shopping early if you fancy taking advantage of the discounts.

If you do miss out then don’t panic as we’re fully expecting Amazon to take part in the upcoming Black Friday sale.

Amazon isn’t the only firm that is launching deals ahead of November 26.

Currys has just announced a deal that’s offering some lucky customers the chance to get an LG TV for free.

1 in 20 buyers will be offered their money back as part of this new promotion which even includes some of LG’s most premium large-screen tellies.

Tesco Mobile has also launched its early Black Friday sale with huge discounts on Apple’s iPhone 12 and Samsung’s new Galaxy Z Flip3.
