Chelmsford residents claim they have not received post from Royal Mail for more than three weeks.
People living in CM1, CM2 and CM3 postcodes have told EssexLive they haven’t been receiving post via Royal Mail since October 25.
This isn’t the first time this has happened in the area – back in January, February and March of 2021 residents didn’t receive post for around five weeks.

But in the run-up to Christmas, residents are starting to get angry and worried about not receiving their mail.
Martin Edwards from Chelmsford said: “In our street we haven’t had any letter postal delivery since October 25.
“Nothing at all.”
Some people have had some outstanding parcels delivered, with residents saying they had been ordered on October 21 and 22.
Martin himself was still waiting for six parcels as of Monday (November 8), and they were ordered between October 24 and November 3.
Last Tuesday (November 2) Martin called the complaints line and was told his mail would be delivered within three working days, but only three outstanding parcels were delivered.
He claims he has still not received any letters.
Martin said: “Some of my neighbours are apparently waiting for letters from the hospital or things like that.
“My motorbike insurance is due for renewal in two days time, and that renewal is in the post.”
Brian from Great Baddow has also noticed severe problems with Royal Mail deliveries.
He said: “The last post we had here was about ten days ago, maybe before.

“My wife, she had a hospital appointment last week, and they posted the details out the week before, but it never arrived.”
Brian went to the sorting office last Wednesday (November 3) and he claims he was told that Royal Mail was really behind with deliveries.
The server told Brian that he would receive his post the following day, but he still hadn’t received anything on Monday (November 8).
Brian asked his postman what was going on when he received one parcel of ink cartridges ordered ten days previously.
He said: “The postman said they had severe staff shortages.”
A Royal Mail spokesperson said: “In some areas in Chelmsford, we are experiencing some disruption to service due to resourcing issues which we are addressing as quickly as possible.
“We aim to deliver to all addresses we have mail for, six days a week.
“If resourcing issues prevent this, we’ll deliver at least every other day.
“We apologise to customers for any inconvenience they may experience as we work hard to resolve the situation.”
