Godwin Developments secures site for commercial scheme | Midlands Property News

Godwin Developments has secured a site opposite Uttoxeter railway station which it intends to transform into a new commercial scheme.

The Brookside Road site is located near a 22,873 sq ft Lidl supermarket on Town Meadows Way which opened in October 2021.

The developer said the land is suited to a range of coffee, food-to-go and fast food operators and has the potential to create jobs.

Nikesh Solanki, development manager at Godwin Developments, said: “We are thrilled to have secured this prominent site in Uttoxeter and we are looking forward to transforming it into a new commercial development.

“Sitting opposite Uttoxeter railway station and near the A518, which connects Uttoxeter to Telford via Stafford and Newport, the site benefits from a busy and highly visible location, providing the perfect spot for a commercial operator to reach not just local customers but also those from further afield.”

Law firm Shakespeare Martineau provided legal advice on the deal, while commercial property consultancy Rushton Hickman acted as land agents.
