EBay to cut 1,600 jobs, 10 percent of work force (AP via Yahoo! News)

EBay Inc., which still reaps big profits but has been struggling to attract new users, said Monday it will cut its work force by 10 percent — about 1,600 jobs — in an attempt to streamline its business.
