Last Christmas delivery dates for John Lewis, Amazon, Marks and Spencer, Boots and more

Christmas Day is less than a week away, and shoppers are frantically trying to get all of their gifts in time for the big day.

It’s the busiest times of the year for shopping and if you’re planning a purchase, don’t forget to check the last delivery dates for your favourite shops.

Due to the spread of Omicron across the UK, shoppers may be more hesitant about buying in-store, particularly with the restrictions of wearing masks in stores again and are being urged to be careful about having contact with others.

This means that more Britons could be shopping online this Christmas and sending gifts via couriers.

We have rounded up the final dates for a bunch of retailers including John Lewis, Argos and Amazon.

You should aim to get your Christmas orders in before these dates to make sure that your gifts definitely arrive before the big day.

Argos

There is still time to buy Christmas gifts from Argos

Shoppers looking to get their hands on gifts from Argos are in luck as orders can be placed until 8pm on December 23 for standard delivery or 1pm on December 24 for express delivery.

Delivery from Argos starts from £3.95 and varies depending on the size of the items purchased, while click and collect is free.

Those looking to purchase from ASOS need to order by December 20 if they choose the standard delivery option or December 22 for next day delivery.

For standard click and collect, the cut-off is today (December 19), or December 22 for next-day click and collect.

Delivery and click and collect costs £4 or is free on orders over £35.

Amazon

Shoppers looking to get their hands on gifts from Amazon are in luck as the cut-off dates for orders are right before Christmas Day.

Shoppers can order from the retailing giant until December 23.

But, Amazon Prime customers can order gifts as late as December 24 by using same-day delivery.

The Body Shop

The Body Shop website states that orders must be placed by today (December) 19 for super saver delivery or standard delivery.

If you choose the express delivery option, you will have to order by December 21, while collect in store orders can be placed until 12 pm on December 23.

Delivery costs start from £3.49, but click and collect is free.

Orders over £35 are also delivered for free.

Boots

Looking to order the perfect aftershave or perfume for a loved one?

Orders closed yesterday (December 18) for standard delivery, while click and collect orders can be placed until 12 pm on December 20.

But, you can still get express delivery until December 22 which will cost £4.95.

Delivery starts from £3.75 and orders over £25 are shipped free.

Currys PC World

Currys PC World shoppers have just missed the deadline for standard delivery on small items (December 18) and by 9 pm on December 22 for next day delivery.

Large items are currently only available to order by 7 am on December 20 for next-day delivery as the cut-off for standard delivery has passed.

You can still order to collect until right before Christmas, with the cut-off point at 12 pm on December 24.

John Lewis has stated on their website that its last delivery cut-offs may change, but currently, the following dates apply.

Orders placed by 7 pm on December 21 will be eligible for standard delivery, while named day delivery orders can be placed until 8 pm on December 22 giving shoppers an extra day to get their last-minute orders in.

Delivery is free when you spend £50 or over, or £3.50 for orders under £50.

Marks & Spencer

Last delivery dates for Marks & Spencer depend on the items purchased.

The deadline has passed for clothing home or beauty products.

However, last-minute shoppers can still place orders using nominated or next-day delivery until 6 pm on December 23, which is the same for store collection.

Flowers can be ordered until 12 pm on December 23 if you select nominated or next-day delivery.

For wine, the standard delivery deadline has passed but you have until 12 pm on December 22 for next day delivery.

While click and collect orders can be placed until December 23 for collection in store on Christmas Eve.
