Royal Mail 2022 public holidays Northern Ireland: The days post will not be collected or delivered

There are certain public holidays when post will not be collected or delivered in Northern Ireland.

A Royal Mail spokesperson said: “We deliver and collect your mail on most days of the year, including Saturdays.

“However, we don’t usually deliver or collect on bank and public holidays.”

Here is a list of those important remaining dates in 2022 for NI.

  • Friday 15 April – Good Friday – No collections or deliveries
  • Monday 18 April – Easter Monday – No collections or deliveries
  • Monday 2 May – Early May Bank Holiday – No collections or deliveries
  • Thursday 2 June – Spring Bank Holiday – No collections or deliveries
  • Friday 3 June – Platinum Jubilee Bank Holiday – No collections or deliveries
  • Tuesday 12 July – Bank Holiday – No collections or deliveries
  • Wednesday 13 July – Non-service day – No collections or deliveries taking place except in Londonderry (BT47 and BT48)
  • Monday 29 August – Summer Bank Holiday – No collections or deliveries
  • Monday 26 December – Boxing Day – No collections or deliveries
  • Tuesday 27 December – Due to Christmas Day on Sunday – No collections or deliveries
