A woman on TikTok has documented a day in the life of a postwoman in northeast London. The Royal Mail postwoman, based in Walthamstow, posted the 17 second video on her account under the handle @misscarla_jayx.
In the TikTok, viewers can see the mum getting ready for a day of work in her red Royal Mail uniform. Numerous boxes, letters, and lateral flow tests are later shown piled up in the back of her delivery van.
The postwoman then films herself in the parked van with a box and a Boohoo parcel on the passenger seat. This is followed by several snippets of her putting mail through residents’ letterboxes and screengrabs of a video call with a fellow Royal Mail co-worker.

Another section of the video shows Carla on the computer at her office doing paperwork. The camera then pans to show the rest of the small workspace, which appears to be crammed with mails and undelivered parcels packaged in boxes and bags.
