ISS lands soft FM deal with Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Trust

ISS has won a new contract with the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (RNOH) NHS Trust for the delivery of all soft services for the hospital.

ISS has worked in partnership with the RNOH, which specialises in neuro-musculoskeletal conditions since 2011, providing services at both the main site in Stanmore, North London, and a Central London Outpatients site.

The new seven-year contract, which commenced on 1 April 2022, will see ISS continue to deliver switchboard, helpdesk, main gate, security, portering, logistics, food services and healthcare cleaning services at the two sites which serve public and private patients.

The two organisations have worked together to create milestone moments, from the opening of the new 100 bed hospital block at the Stanmore site, through to the Covid-19 pandemic response.

The revitalised service combines ISS’ experience and knowledge of the hospital with a variety of exciting new innovations including advanced technology to improve user experience, diverse menus and retail catering offers and enhanced social and environmental initiatives.

Donna Brown, Managing Director for ISS Healthcare, said: “As one of the largest orthopaedic centres in the world, RNOH is a very special hospital. It is wonderful that our placemakers make such a positive impact to the Trust and local community and I am absolutely delighted that we have been given the opportunity to continue building this fantastic partnership.”
