Royal Family News – Prince Louis given SHOCK comparison to the Queen after Jubilee appearance by body language expert

George Ezra reveals REAL reason song lyrics were changed for Jubilee performance

Ezra says that appearing at the Queen’s celebration was a bigger deal than he was expecting.

“The Jubilee is a really good example of something going over my head — the magnitude of it.

“It was only when we got on stage and I saw all the flags that I realised, ‘Oh, this really is huge’.”

Ezra played megahit Shotgun and recent single Green Green Grass to the 22,000-strong crowd gathered outside and to the millions viewing at home to celebrate the 96-year-old Queen’s 70 years on the throne.

But many of Ezra’s fans were outraged that Ezra left out the end of one of his lines that referred to “dying”.

The lyric: “Green green grass, blue blue sky, you better throw a party on the day that I die” was changed to not cause offence.

And fans took to social media to complain.

Ezra says: “I think the reaction to it has kind of worked in our favour to say it was unnecessary.

“My gut instinct was that you don’t need to change it.

“I don’t know if it came from the royals or the producers of the show, but it’s pretty obvious that if you’re playing for the Royal Family and the powers that be say, ‘We don’t want you to sing that lyric,’ then you’re not going to argue.”
