Scam message claiming to be NHS targeting sensitive data

A SCAM NHS text message is being sent to phones across Worcestershire.

The text claims to be from the NHS and says that you have been in contact with someone who has recently tested positive for the “COVID-19 Omicron Variant”.

The text also has a link attached which is designed to access personal information, disguised as a platform to order a covid test.

The link is not a recognised NHS link.

Upon opening the link, the website looks similar to that of the NHS website, with a write-up that contains spelling errors and poorly phrased English.

If you receive one of these messages, do not click the link.
