Met Office reveals weather for Hereford on hottest day of the year

TODAY Hereford is experiencing its hottest day of the year, with temperatures set to hit 29C.

The Met Office is urging Brits to take care this weekend ahead of a “dangerous” 34C heatwave this weekend.

The weather agency has issued the health alert warning to large parts of England with the hottest temperatures ever recorded since records began are expected today (June 17).

In Hereford temperatures look set to hit highs of 28C, with the Met Office predicting overnight lows of 17C.

It will be a dry day with very warm spells of strong sunshine, but there may be some cloud through the morning, turning breezier by the afternoon.

Cloud will build in the evening and overnight, with a risk of a small shower. But it will be a warm evening and feel muggy during the night.

OTHER NEWS:

Tomorrow it will be a cloudy day with outbreaks of rain, which will be heavy at times with a risk of thunder. It will feel noticeably cooler than Friday.

For Sunday and Tuesday, it will stay largely dry with sunny spells and feel warm, with light wind.
