Royal Family fans worry for Prince George as he appears at Wimbledon

Royal Family fans have all been saying the same thing after tuning in to see the Wimbledon men’s final and catching a glimpse of Prince George.

The Prince is at watching on Centre Court alongside his parents the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. But while Nick Kyrgios and Novak Djokovic are expected to sweat it out down on the hallowed turf, fans are worrying about George doing the same in the stands.

The UK is in the midst of a heatwave with some experts predicting that the UK could see unprecedented temperatures of over 40C during July. This has left many wondering why Prince William and his wife Kate have decided to dress George in a full suit.

Both George and his dad donned a full suit to the men’s final today despite the mercury hitting 28C this afternoon according to the Met Office. The temperatures are set to sit at sweltering levels until well into the evening meaning George might be in for an uncomfortable afternoon.

Racheal said on Twitter: “Poor child having to wear a suit in this hot weather.” Hilary agreed, she said: “Poor Prince George in a shirt, tie and jacket in that stifling heat. Couldn’t they let the kid wear a T-shirt?”

Prince George and his dad are both in full suits despite the heat

Carmen said: “Why do they dress him in a suit and tie and in this heat. He’s a boy, not a grown up.” John wrote: “How ridiculous Prince George in a dark suit and tie in this heat at wimbledon.”

Louise asked if it wouldn’t be more sensible to let him take his jacket off, she wrote: “Poor Prince George having to wear a suit in this weather. At least let him take the jacket off.” Miranda said: “Poor Prince George, he must be boiling in that suit.”

Roz said it was a wider issue: “Please don’t force George/men to wear jackets in the heat. It’s ridiculous & uncomfortable. Also, please sort out a scoring system so matches don’t go on forever. Both BBC1 & 2 have tennis & those who wanted to watch other programmes keep having them cancelled or postponed.”
