Molly Brown was an American socialite and activist who survived the sinking of the Titanic. Her life story was made into a musical and then a feature film entitled “The Unsinkable Molly Brown” starring Debbie Reynolds. Kathy Bates played Brown in 1997’s “Titanic.”
