Royal Mail says fall in post volumes accelerating (Financial Times)

Royal Mail on Thursday warned of an acceleration in the decline of mail volumes, with the number of items falling 4 per cent over the last six months as the economic downturn combined with increasing competition from electronic media and private sector postal operators.
