COWES LADIES TO PLAY CHARITY MATCH AT HOME AGAINST ROYAL MAIL XI LATER THIS MONTH – Island Echo

Almost 5 years to the day of their first-ever match, Westwood Park will welcome the team that kicked it all off for the Cowes Ladies team back in 2017.

On 21st August, Cowes Ladies XI will again be hosting a charity fundraiser in support of Mountbatten Isle of Wight – with a mixed team including some of Kate’s family, against a Royal Mail Mixed XI, playing once more for the Kate Marshall Memorial Trophy.

There will be football, food, drinks and music throughout the day so get yourselves along to Westwood Park on the 21st of August and help those involved raise money for a wonderful, important cause and cheer.

Their next game will be the inaugural Kate Marshall Memorial Match against a full men’s team in the form of a Painters Arms XI.

The gates are open at 11:00 and the match kicks off at 12:00 with entertainment to follow.
