Royal Mail app and website down as customers try to log on

Some Royal Mail customers have reported the organisation’s app is currently down. Royal Mail has said some customers are experiencing “difficulties” when using its website today, (December 28).

A Royal Mail spokesperson said: “We are very sorry for the difficulties experienced by some customers when using our website today. We are working to resolve this technical issue as quickly as possible and apologise for any inconvenience caused.”

Customers who have been trying to use the app have taken to Twitter to share their frustration. @ijohnjassy said: “Royal Mail online and mobile app not responding? Everything just falling apart.”

Louise Thorpe added: “Is your website and app on strike too?? Trying to get on to redeliver after left a card – but website and app not available.” @Staceyfacey88 wrote: “Royal Mail app and website are down. No point in trying to track something you’ve sent.”
