We have all been there – watching our phone waiting for our Deliveroo or similar to arrive.

But for one unlucky customer their order was running late for an unusal reason.

A delivery driver was stopped on his way to deliver coffee and pastires yesterday morningin Bletchley, Milton Keynes.

Officers from Thames Valley Police’s roads policing teams, which works across Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire, caught up with the driver whose car wasn’t insured.

Writing abbout he incident to Facebook, the cops joked that the driver would be”jogging your way now” after they seized his car.

They said: “If you are in Bletchley and waiting for a warming caffeine based beverage & pastries, ordered via a popular delivery app, the driver is jogging your way now.

“Unfortunately he didn’t read the letters stating the insurance was cancelled, so we kept the car. Sorry.”
