A MAN who has admitted attempted murder looks likely to receive a hospital order.
Bryan Lilley, formerly of Hever Avenue, Worcester, admitted the charge when it was put to him.
The court heard Lilley, 26, – who was flanked by a number of staff from the Reaside Clinic in the dock of Courtroom 2 at Worcester Crown Court- attempted to murder Jonathan Ronald on July 12 last year.
Lilley also pleaded guilty to a second count of possession of a Class A drug, cocaine – an offence that took place on the same date.

Abigail Nixon, defending, told the court Lilley had been diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia and a doctor had recommended a hospital order.
Miss Nixon said they would need a second report from another doctor asking for an adjournment for that to take place.
His Honour Judge James Burbidge agreed to the adjournment.
The judge told the defendant he must engage with the psychiatrist in the making of the report, adding he would be sentenced in the week beginning August 7.
The judge added a hospital order with restrictions may be his sentence.
Ben Williams prosecuted during the hearing on Monday, (June 26).
