Six people were rushed to hospital after schoolboys reportedly crashed a £187,000 Lamborghini into a Royal Mail van in East London. Footage seen by MyLondon shows the terrifying moment the blue Lambo Urus ploughed into the back of the postal company van, spraying carbon fibre and metal across Royal Dock Road in Beckton at around 7:20pm on Tuesday (June 12).
MyLondon understands the Lamborghini was hired by schoolboys for end of year prom celebrations, but things took a turn when it appears they lost control and crashed the supercar. More footage of the aftermath seen by MyLondon shows two of the boys laying in the road, with another against the barriers, all wearing tuxedos and suits.
Emergency services, including the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance, raced to the scene and took the victims to hospital. Police have since confirmed none of the injuries were life-threatening. Roads were closed after the crash as emergency services surrounded the scene.

In a letter to parents, the schoolboys’ headteacher said: “You may be aware of a car accident that took place yesterday involving some of our students. Our staff have been in contact with the families of those students who were involved as passengers of the vehicle.
“I can confirm although there are some injuries to our students, thankfully there are no fatalities. This has been confirmed to me this morning by the Metropolitan Police. Prayers are with those students and their families, we wish them a speedy recovery.”
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “Police were called at 7.22pm on Tuesday, July 12 to reports of a collision involving two cars in Royal Dock Road, Beckton. Officers attended along with the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance.
“Six people were taken to hospital where their injuries were assessed as not life-threatening. There have been no arrests and enquiries are ongoing.”
