Prince Harry’s Marriage With Meghan Markle Has Left His Friends “Genuinely Disgusted

The stars did align when Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tied the knot but in an alternate universe. Because on this planet, their marriage has not been accepted by anyone but themselves, sometimes not even by the latter. Starting from the royal family to almost the entire population in the United Kingdom, if not all, have heavily frowned upon the Sussex marriage. And just when it could not get any worse, Prince Harry has his long-standing friends fleeing his ground when he needs it the most. 

The rogue royal has not been back to his base following his renunciation of the British Crown. Even if he has, he has just shown up for unavoidable instances such as the Queen’s funeral, King Charles’ coronation, and the ongoing legal war against the tabloids. Chipping on her views about the same, a royal expert has expressed how his indifference to the UK is affecting his long-term friends. 

Prince Harry’s Friends are upset

Earlier this month, the Duke missed out on a close friend’s wedding ceremony. Jack Mann has been serving his loyalty to the Prince as his unofficial best man. Reports suggest he received a tremendous blow when he did not find Prince Harry on the most auspicious day of his life. The Mail’s royal editor Rebecca English sat down for the Palace Confidential weighing on Prince Harry’s unexpected behavior. 

Speaking to Palace Confidential, English claimed, “a lot of people who are genuinely disgusted by what he’s done since leaving the royal family.” She added that his friends are extremely hurt by some revelations that found shelter in his tell-all memoir, Spare. Growing up, Prince William and Prince Harry created a very closely knitted circle of friends. 

And that has long been disrupted since Meghan Markle entered his life. 

Is Prince Harry distancing himself from the UK after Meghan Markle?

It is no secret that most of the United Kingdom has been indifferent to the Duchess, including the Duke’s own family members in the Palace. Following their fallout with the British Crown, the Prince has wholeheartedly devoted his life to his wife and two bundles of joy, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. His rush at the King’s coronation indicated how he has been cutting his time for the royalty. 

Nonetheless, it was not exactly what Prince Harry wished for. As he sat for a set of interviews during the publicity of Spare. In one of those interviews, Prince Harry made it clear that this was not the way he wanted. Even if they have separated, he wants his father and brother back; he claimed. The situation, however, has never favored the Duke with the same wish.
