I wrote and complained to the delivery manager at the Slough sorting office, but have had no reply. I gather this is happening in other towns and is called ‘clumping’.
When Royal Mail asked if they could reduce their service from six days a week to five, parliament refused. So how come they are allowed to get away with this?
Surely, there are plenty of students on holiday who would love temporary work?
At present, a letter posted to me say on a Wednesday first class (costing £1.10) will not reach me until the following Wednesday.
I also appreciate my weekly paper and magazine (on subscription) delivered on time.
If Royal Mail can no longer deliver the mail, they should allow another company to take over.
I wonder how many other streets are having a similar experience?
