Still time to have your say on how the council should spend its budget

The administration of Salisbury City Council is committed to listening to the views of all our residents.

To this end we recently arranged to have a leaflet delivered by Royal Mail to every household in postcodes SP1 and SP2, i.e. within the city parish boundary.

This leaflet should help to clear up confusion about which services are provided by the City Council, and which ones by Wiltshire Council.

It invites people to take part in a survey, either online or on paper, indicating which City Council services they would prioritise when it comes to budgeting.

Some councillors and officers also manned a stall in the Market Place on four market days in August to discuss these issues with shoppers.

If you have not yet done so, there is still time to have your say via the link to the survey on the council’s website or by picking up a paper copy from the Tourist Information office.

Please take this opportunity to share your views with us.

Cllr Annie Riddle

Independent, Harnham West
