Look inside David and Victoria Beckham’s £12m mansion

The £12million Cotswold mansion is featured in multiple scenes in the four-part Netflix series ‘Beckham’ which follows the former Manchester United player’s career and gives insight into his marriage.

The couple, who share children Brooklyn, 24, Romeo, 21, Cruz, 18, and Harper, 12, bought the country retreat for a reported £6.15 million in December 2016.

The property also has a huge lake and grounds as one scene showed Mr Beckham sitting at his garden table looking back at the home.

Speaking to the camera, the 48-year-old said: “I wanted a place where we could escape.

“As soon as I get into the countryside I normally get into my whole country getup.”

The documentary shows the Beckhams chatting to cameras throughout the home including their living room and rustic kitchen.

Features of the kitchen include a traditional pizza oven, a breakfast bar and a large leather sofa.

Nearby, large glass doors open out from the kitchen into the garden where the family keep bees to produce their own honey.

The final scene in the series shows the Beckham family cooking and dancing in the outdoor safari tent.

The couple have also built al fresco loos next to an outhouse to prevent their guests from having to trek back up to the main house during parties.

The former England captain, who suffers from obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), spoke about his ‘obsession’ with keeping things in order as he showed his incredibly organised wardrobe.

He explained: “It’s all quite organised, jackets, jean shirts, shirts and then it goes from jumpers, cardis to T-shirts, underwear socks and then suits.”

He went to show off his clothing rail that he plans his outfits out for the week.

Earlier this year, it was claimed the couple were reportedly considering selling their Cotswolds home due to increased traffic noise in the area.

However, a source close to the Beckhams told the Oxford Mail the family denied the claims.

In 2020 the Beckhams applied to the council for permission to build an underground passageway to link their home with their existing garage.

As part of the proposed new basement cellar, planning documents said that it would “improve security for the occupants of the property.”

The plans also included a security hut and, on a lighter note, a wine cellar.

In September 2022 their neighbours backed their plans for a new security cabin – to deter “undesirable elements from venturing into our lovely little village” and allow them to sleep at night.

The Beckhams’ property is along the same road as the exclusive private members’ club Soho Farmhouse which hosted Meghan Markle’s hen party and is a well-known A-lister haunt.
