King Charles is “responding well” to cancer treatment and is “really upbeat”, according to reports. A Royal Family expert says the King is “really upbeat” alongside aides over the cancer treatment after being diagnosed earlier this year.
Mail on Sunday editor Charlotte Griffiths said: “I am hearing that he’s actually responding genuinely, really well to cancer treatment. And everyone in the royal household is feeling positive and upbeat about how he’s responding.”
She explained: “The idea that William is looking for a reconciliation is for the birds. This is a guy who has a lot of big things on his plate. He has two very sick relatives one of whom is his wife. He is planning to be the future King, who knows how long that could be.”

The Mail on Sunday editor went on, telling GB News amid the monarch’s health woes: “That must be at the forefront of his mind. He could be the King in the next few years and the idea that he’s going to get bogged down by more psychodrama from his brother, from Montecito, from Meghan.
“I mean, he’s just he’s moved past all of that. He’s actually past the angry stage. I’m hearing he just can’t be bothered with those guys anymore.” It comes on the day Charles admitted he was “shocked” by the “senseless” violence in Sydney.
The King and his wife, Queen Camilla, sent their heartfelt sympathies to all those involved in the knife attack that left six people dead at a mall in Sydney, Australia. The statement read: “My wife and I were utterly shocked and horrified to hear of the tragic stabbing incident in Bondi.
“Our hearts go out to the families and loved ones of those who have been so brutally killed during such a senseless attack. While details of these shocking circumstances are still emerging, our thoughts are also with those who were involved in the response, and we give thanks for the bravery of the first responders and emergency services. Charles R.”
