Whenever the grown-ups talk about the post office site, the conversation usually turns to Winnetka’s future. So on Nov. 19, the future weighed in. Eighth-graders from Washburne Middle School laid out for various Winnetka figures plans for what they’d like to see at the site (the village owns the property, and its lease with the post office is set to expire soon).
