Shoppers are turning to ‘luxury’ bed sheets as they keep you way cooler than cotton at night

Shoppers are raving about ‘luxurious’ bed sheets from Panda that promise to keep you cooler than cotton during those warm nights. As temperatures rise, getting a good night’s sleep can become a challenge, but Panda’s Signature+ Bamboo Lyocell Bedding is being hailed for its ability to adapt to your ‘perfect’ body temperature, ensuring a comfy kip regardless of the climate.

These heat-regulating sheets wouldn’t look out of place in a posh hotel and have even been likened to high-end products from retailers like Marks and Spencer. Crafted from bamboo, the sheets offer several advantages including preventing skin irritation and alleviating symptoms associated with hay fever and eczema.

The fabric’s natural antimicrobial qualities help fend off dust mites, while its breathability is great for those suffering from ‘night sweats’. Panda assures customers that their bedding is non-absorbent, anti-static, and odour resistant, promising a hassle-free experience.

It comes in two stylish colours to suit all bedroom interiors

With an impressive average score of 4.4 out of five stars from 243 reviews, it’s not just Panda’s word you have to take for the quality of their bedding. A satisfied customer shared: “This is an excellent product. You get what you pay for and can highly recommend spending the extra on this bedding. A great night’s sleep as we have now brought the quilt. So comfortable and soft.”

A second person commented: “Am at the age now where night sweats are common, and this is the best bedding I’ve found that doesn’t add to the overheating! The bedding is very smooth, and as such the pillowcases do gape open – if these had the same openings in the middle at the back like the French linen bedding the pillows would look a lot neater when the bed is made. However this is a minor gripe compared to the better sleep and extreme comfort from the lovely soft bedding. I would fully recommend this, and it is suitable all year round.”

Another customer referred to them as being ‘so incredibly soft and comfortable’ adding that the sheet sets “has helped my son to sleep a lot better. He has severe eczema and struggles at night but this has made a big difference. Thank you.”

Some users have complained that the sheets can move around the bed at night, however, this could be a result of personal sleeping style. One customer explained: “The one negative is that the sheet scrunches up very quickly after a night or two of sleeping (again, it may be worse for me as I clearly don’t stay still in my sleep), and the duvet does have a tendency to slide around in the cover more than what it would in a cotton equivalent. I’m pleased I bought it but I’m not sure it’s worth the significant jump in price.”

For a complete set, the Panda bedding starts from £130. This includes a fitted sheet, duvet cover and pillowcases. Available in chic cream or a stylish dark green, choose from two shades that will easily pair with any existing interiors.

If you’re looking for a more budget-friendly option, consider these Marks and Spencer bamboo sheets. Or, John Lewis’ Bamboo Duvet Cover Set is £100.
