Police cordons in place after incident in Pinner

There are police cordons in Pinner this morning after an incident that is believed to have happened overnight.

Two Royal Mail vans have been the focus of a police investigation today. The first van, which was severely damaged by fire, was found parked outside the Lidl supermarket on Bridge Street.

A second van has been spotted just outside the Pinner Police Station on Waxwell Lane.

Police have cordoned off both areas and officers remain at the scene. The burnt-out van, particularly, has drawn concern from local residents this morning who have reached out for details on the incident.

Harrow Online has contacted Met Police for information and will update as it becomes available.
