Postal workers have been left “running for their lives” in a Cornish market town due to territorial seagulls dive-bombing towards them from nearby rooftops.
Some residents in the town of Liskeard have had their deliveries delayed in recent weeks as the birds have been seen “sweeping” in the direction of the postmen and women when they attempt to carry out their duties.
Locals have been advised to either wait for their post to be delivered when the birds aren’t being so vicious, or to inform the Royal Mail of an alternative address for their mail.
