Cuttlebrook Hall hosts Royal Ascot themed garden party

Residents at Cuttlebrook Hall took part in the home’s Ascot Day by cheering on staff dressed as jockeys whilst they rode handmade hobby horses around the garden.

Residents also placed ‘bets’ on their favourite contestants and created signs to encourage staff through different rounds.

There was a barbeque and entertainment provided by a singer, with residents dressed in their finest outfits and hats.

Alana Corr, home manager at Cuttlebrook Hall, said: “We all had a fantastic time hosting our very own ‘day at the races’ – especially under the brilliant sunshine.

“Everyone got into the spirit of the day, wearing their best outfits and fanciest hats.

“We have some keen punters at the home, so this was an opportunity that could not be missed.

“We have lots more outdoor activities planned for residents in the coming months so we can make the most of the sunshine in our beautiful grounds.

“The team members who organised the event did a brilliant job, and we’re looking forward to doing this again next year.”
