Bangkok-Kanchanaburi ‘Royal Blossom’ marks new initiative to promote domestic tourism through rail travel

The SRT plans to continue supporting domestic tourism throughout 2024 and 2025 with various weekend train trips, including steam locomotive tours and excursions to historical sites.

THAI TRAVEL NEWS: The State Railway of Thailand (SRT) and the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) have launched the inaugural Royal Blossom train service from Bangkok to Kanchanaburi, marking a new initiative to promote domestic tourism through rail travel. This special service offers a comfortable travel experience with meals prepared using local ingredients from Kanchanaburi, served in Japanese-style Bento boxes, providing a unique cultural touch.
