Christmas jobs in Coventry for people looking for extra cash

We may still be in August but businesses are already preparing for Christmas. And if you’re hoping to earn a bit of extra cash over the festive period there are jobs already being advertised.

From shop assistants to delivery drivers there’s plenty of jobs on offer. And with Christmas getting more and more expensive, it’s always handy to have some more money coming in.

Take a look through the roles currently on offer in Coventry below.

Retail Operations Assistant (Christmas) – Boots

While this is advertised as a Christmas role, candidates are needed to start from September. Full time and part time hours are available with a variety of shift patterns including weekends. The roles are based at the store in Lower Precinct in the city centre and pay £11.44 an hour.

Christmas Temp – TK MAXX

The store is advertising for temporary retail associate roles with various hours available from Monday to Sunday. Rates of pay are not confirmed although the advert says it is ‘competitive’. It states: “From your very first day with us you’ll be welcomed as part of our retail family. This is also a great learning environment. Our stock changes by the day and we like to make sure our retail associates get plenty of variety so you might be on the cash registers one moment, guiding customers on the shop floor the next.”

Christmas Parcel Delivery Driver – Royal Mail

Royal Mail are looking for Christmas delivery drivers to help spread the joy over the festive season. Duties include driving or walking a dedicated route, customer service and sorting mail and parcels in the delivery office.

Pay is from £11.14 per hour Monday to Saturday and £13.54 on Sundays. Workers will be guaranteed a minimum of 20 hours per week.
