Barnsley FC players feature on international duty

A NUMBER of Barnsley’s players have been in action for their international teams over the weekend.

Vimal Yoganathan started in Wales u19s 2-2 draw against Turkmenistan on Saturday.

His Wales side are currently 1-0 up against Azerbaijan.

He made his league debut earlier this month for the Reds in the 3-0 win away at Crawley.

Young striker Josiah Dyer registered an assist in Montserrat’s 4-1 loss against El Salvador last week and came off the bench in their 2-0 defeat at Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

Jon Russell was an unused substitute in Jamaica’s 0-0 draw with Cuba in the Concacaf Nations League at the weekend.

Ex-Red Ethan Pinnock played the full 90 minutes for the Reggae Boyz who are due to face Honduras on Wednesday.
