Pinchbeck and District Darts League round-up

With the Hereward Sports Pinchbeck and District Summer Darts League season coming towards its end, the challenge for honours is starting to become clear.

Division A leaders Lincoln Arms A look certain to take the title with a help of a 22-5 away win at Consti Club C.

Jimmy Tenno added another 180 to add to his tally this season and, with legs of 16 and 18 darts, he was in fine form again.

Steve Stancer hit a 110 checkout and also an 18 dart leg. Stancer also had a 16 dart leg with pairs partner Paul Blow.

Paul Faulkner for the Consti had a 180 but suffered defeat in the singles to John Charlton who won 2-1 with the help of a 16 dart leg.

Services Club B secured runners-up spot with a 17-10 away win in a rearranged game at Pinchbeck FC.

Ben Chester and Steve Rawding both won 3-0 in their singles against Craig Woods and Stan Potter respectively.

Consti Club B came out on top 18-9 away at the Green Dragon A.

Carl Pogson had a 180 and a 124 checkout but still lost out 2-1 in his singles to Scott Baldwin who also had a 180.

Pinchbeck FC, playing their second game in as many days, won 15-12 away at Consti Club Z.

In the Lincoln Arms derby, it was the D team who came out 20-7 winners against the C team.

With one league game to go, Drayman’s Arms B have secured the Division B title although losing 13-14 away at Consti Club D.

Runners up was also decided with the Royal Mail Cart beating Kirton Leisure 14-13. Stef Atudosiei and Stu Page both hit 180s for the Spalding side.

Drayman’s Arms A picked up only their second win of the season with an 18-9 home victory against Green Dragon C.

Dean Murray had a 180 for the Services Club A in his 3-0 singles victory against Chris Mumby but this didn’t prevent his team losing 15-12 at home to the Consti Club A.
