Cancelled ferries means mail delays, says Post Office

Thursday, 26 September 2024 09:55

Isle of Man Post Office says ferry cancellations will mean delays to off-Island mail.

The Steam Packet company cancelled a series of Manxman crossings today and yesterday because of bad weather.

The post office says no mail left the Island this morning, and parcels and letters collected yesterday will now be dispatched this afternoon but won’t reach Royal Mail’s network for delivery tomorrow.

It adds inbound mail will now arrive on a later sailing, while local post is unaffected.
