Man banned from Rushmoor for two years is jailed after ‘brazenly ignoring’ order

A man has been jailed for 20 weeks after he breached a criminal behaviour order banning him from Rushmoor for two years.

Daniel Jankovic, 27, of no fixed abode, was charged with breaching the order, which had been issued on April 18 last year, after he was spotted on Holly Road in Farnborough on September 5.

Jankovic admitted the offence and was sentenced on October 10 at Winchester Crown Court to jail for 20 weeks.

Surrey Police’s Rushmoor inspector Mike Hall said: “A CBO was imposed in April last year, which banned Jankovic from entering Rushmoor for two years, but he brazenly ignored this and was located in Farnborough last month.”

“We hope this reassures people that we will continue to take action and enforce CBOs that have been granted by the courts.”
