West Ham shareholders worth £16 billion

West Ham shareholders have a combined wealth of £16 billion putting them in fourth place in the table of Premier League richest owners.

Only Newcastle owners (Saudi Public Investment Fund, RB Sports & Media) £743Bn, Manchester City (Adu Dhabi United Group/Silver Lake) £20.8Bn and Manchester United owners Glazers and Sir Jim Ratcliffe £20.4Bn have more net wealth than the West Ham shareholders.

West Ham shareholder Daniel Kretinsky has been crowned the richest person in Czech Republic after increasing his net worth from 217 million Czech crowns (£7.23bn) to 390 billion crowns (£13bn) during the last year thanks largely to massive profit dividends of 94 billion crowns (£3.23bn) from his energy companies.

Křetínský has pushed Renáta Kellnerová of PPF, the heiress to the family empire after the tragic death of his former business partner Petr Kellner who’s family retain a net worth of 350 billion crowns (£11.62bn). Kretinsky had been dating Petr’s daughter Anna Kellnrova until last year.

Another Kretinsky business partner, Patrik Tkáč, co-founder of the J&T investment group, moved up to third place in the Czech Republic richest list with an estimated net worth of assets of CZK 260 billion (£8.63bn)

In the last twelve months Kretinsky purchased a stake in the German steelworks ThyssenKrupp, is also trying to complete his acquisition of Royal Mail after completing the acquisition of French supermarkets Casino.  He is also planning to take over a one-third stake in Slovenské elektrárne, which is currently owned by the Italian concern Enel.  The list was recently published by Czech magazine Euro Weekly part of the Czech Financial Time newspaper.

The Sullivans are ranked as the 150th richest in the UK with a net worth of £1,168,000,000, up £50 million from last year.

Albert Tripp Smith then comes in with a value of up to £1 billion, while Vanessa Gold and her family are said to be worth around £650 million. Other shareholders include the Harris family with £200 million and former Chairman Terry Brown having a net worth of £50 million.

With the West Ham shareholders worth a combined £16 billion they have more wealth than Arsenal with £13 billion, Chelsea £12.2bn, Liverpool £6.2bn and Spurs £5.5bn.
