On behalf of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, participated today at the 45th GCC Summit, held in the state of Kuwait.
The 45th GCC Summit was chaired by the Amir of Kuwait, His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, at the Bayan Palace.
His Royal Highness expressed his appreciation to the Amir of Kuwait, His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Crown Prince of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, the Prime Minister of Kuwait, His Highness Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, along with the government and people of Kuwait, for their generous hospitality and warm reception, which reflects the strength of Bahrain-Kuwait relations.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister affirmed Bahrain’s commitment to bolstering cooperation and joint coordination between the GCC countries across various fields to serve mutual interests and achieve shared aspirations for continued progress and prosperity.
HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad highlighted the importance of enhancing GCC cooperation to solidify the GCC’s stance at the regional and international level.
His Royal Highness noted the GCC’s role in advocating for just Arab and Islamic issues, enhancing development paths, and consolidating regional security and peace.
His Royal Highness noted the importance of doubling efforts to deepen GCC collaboration in line with the visions of the leaders of the GCC member states, contributing to accomplishing further achievements.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister participated in the closing session 45th GCC Summit, where the Joint Communiqué of the summit was signed.
His Royal Highness then attended a lunch banquet hosted by the Amir of Kuwait in honour of the leaders of the GCC countries who attended the Summit.
