The Royal Mail has issued its last posting dates for Christmas 2024 – and warned which day is the busiest making it one you might want to avoid

In the lead-up to Christmas, many Brits still love sending and receiving traditional cards. The Royal Mail is urging people to beat the rush and post early to help make sure their festive greetings land in time for the big day.
They’ve now shared the last posting dates to guarantee your season’s greetings hit doormats before December 25. While the mail service is expecting Monday, December 9, to be the peak day for sending, they’ve reassured there’s still time afterwards to get your cards in the post.
They say: “Allow plenty of time for posting. Please post items and gifts for Christmas early, particularly for International deliveries.”
