We’re well into the Christmas season, with festivities cropping up all over the country ahead of the big day.

Royal Mail advises: “Allow plenty of time for posting. Please post items and gifts for Christmas early, particularly for International deliveries.”
As well as posting presents to loved ones, you want to bear these dates in mind if you are shopping online for gifts. If you are planning to post Christmas presents and cards, you can pop the below dates in your calendar so you can’t miss the deadlines.
To arrive by Christmas, here are the Royal Mail latest posting dates:

For 2nd Class and 2nd Class Signed For – Wednesday 18 December

For 1st Class, 1st Class Signed For and Royal Mail Tracked 48 – Friday 20 December

For Royal Mail Tracked 24 – Saturday 21 December

For Special Delivery Guaranteed – Monday 23 December

There are no Royal Mail collections or deliveries on Christmas Day (25 December), Boxing Day (26 December) and New Years Day (1 January). Normal services will operate around these dates.
