With 2024 nearing its end, Citywire Elite Companies went on the hunt for the five stocks that have gained the most in popularity this year with the top investors we track.

Citywire ranks and rates companies based on the conviction shown towards their shares by Elite Investors – the top 3% of more than 10,000 equity managers Citywire monitors.

Our methodology, independently approved by data analysts AKG, considers both the number of Elite holders of a company and the size of their bets relative to other portfolio holdings. All stocks are ranked in our database by their amount of smart money backing. The most popular tenth of about 6,000 are awarded an AAA rating, the next 20% AA, the next 30% A and the rest get a Citywire + rating.
