Gloucester: Man arrested on suspicion of rape after CCTV appeal

A man has been arrested on suspicion of rape following a police appeal for information.
Gloucestershire Police said the 33-year-old man was arrested in connection with a rape in Gloucester on Saturday.
Following an appeal for information where the police shared a CCTV image, the suspect was identified.
“We’d like to thank the public for sharing our appeal and particularly to everyone who came forward to help identify the man,” said a police spokesperson.
