The regular NFL season has come to an end and we are officially into the 2025 playoffs. Some of American football’s biggest teams must now battle for their place in the Super Bowl 59, which will be held at New Orleans’ Caesars Superdome on February 9.
This weekend will see six playoff teams from the AFC and NFC in action as they fight for their right to progress to the divisional round and edge closer to the Lombardi Trophy. The Kansas City Chiefs – who are on the brink of a three-peat – and Detroit Lions are already through to the divisional round of the playoffs having secured the AFC and NFC number one seeds respectively, so they won’t be in action during Wild Card Weekend.
The Pittsburgh Steelers, Philadelphia Eagles and Tampa Bay Buccaneers are among the sides in action between Saturday and Monday. It’s been confirmed that the Los Angeles Rams vs Minnesota Vikings game is being moved to Arizona due to the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles.
The NFL said it was monitoring the situation closely, with the game originally scheduled for LA’s SoFi Stadium. But on Friday, it confirmed the game will be held at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, the home of the Arizona Cardinals.
