Evesham to host Great Train Robbery talk

The talk, which will be led by expert Ian Boskett, will focus on the heist’s 60th anniversary and new updates.

The robbery involved £2.6 million stolen from a Royal Mail train on August 8, 1963, by a gang of 15 after tampering with the lineside signals.

Mr Boskett will explore intriguing local connections, including an escape flight from a Worcestershire airfield, and items linked to the robbery that have recently resurfaced.

The event will be held at The Henrician on Sunday, June 29, from 7pm to 9pm.
