Owner ‘thrilled’ to open new Harpenden Food & Wine store

Harpenden Food & Wine has launched in Southdown at 3 Piggtoshill. The new shop features a variety of food, alcohol, soft drinks and snacks for customers.

International produce, vapes and tobacco will also be available at the new-look off licence.

“Our store is here to bring you convenience, quality, and friendly service—all under one roof,” he added.

The Southdown unit formerly housed Shop Local Extra but had been closed for several months. Rumours of a new tenant arose when an application was submitted to obtain an alcohol licence in December.

Harpenden Food & Wine is now open between 7am and 10pm, Monday to Sunday.
